Modification of the chain guide
existing “floating” chain guide is modified to the current fixed design. Soiling
caused by production affects the chain guides with oily particles or fibres
adhering to, and immobilising, the elements.
That means, the chain is no longer “floating”. Extensive maintenance is
required to maintain its operativeness. Insufficient maintenance will increase
wear, entail higher maintenance costs and error messages.
In a retrofit, the floating system is replaced with fixed guide rails.
- Extended space for the roller rods to manoeuvre thus improving the press control
Minimum maintenance required
- Reduced maintenance costs
